Jackie Myers is originally from Brazil, but grew up on the East Coast before moving to San Diego in 2019. She is a bilingual Portuguese speaker, and has participated in a Spanish Immersion program in Costa Rica. Jackie received her Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology, and Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut, and her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Southern Connecticut State University. She has gained experience working with clients of all ages in a variety of settings including in-home early intervention, schools, and hospitals. She has a passion for working with young children and leads the CSTI Early Intervention Program. She strives to develop genuine relationships with her clients and their families in order to promote effective and successful communication. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and yoga.
