Kristin Rottino is a Speech-Language Pathologist, AAC Specialist, and Program Lead with nearly a decade of experience serving children and families across clinic, school-based, early intervention, consultation, and Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) settings. At Coastal Speech Therapy, she currently provides clinic-based services and conducts Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs). She also serves as a part-time clinical educator, mentoring future speech-language pathologists.

Kristin’s clinical interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), autism, gestalt language processing (GLP), early language development, and neurodiversity-affirming practices. Her areas of expertise include AAC assessment and intervention, supporting children with complex communication needs, and collaborating with families and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized, functional communication systems.

Kristin is currently pursuing her Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology (SLPD) degree with a concentration in Clinical Research and a focus on AAC.

Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dog, camping and exploring the outdoors, and capturing nature and family moments through photography.
